Finding Balance: Feminism, Career, and the Dream of Family
Growing up as a woman today is fascinating. On one side, there’s a powerful wave of feminism—I believe in equal pay, more women in politics and tech, and that every woman should have full control over her body. On the other side, we still see traditional family models and struggles with sexism. Sometimes, it’s hard to navigate these conflicting influences, especially as I think about what I want for my future.
At 18, I’ve already had a taste of career success in media and business, and I’m confident I have the leadership skills to go further. But when I think about what truly brings me joy, it’s not just about building a business empire or running a successful show. I find happiness in the simple things: spending time with children, cooking for my partner, and imagining a future where I live surrounded by family in a peaceful, natural setting.
What bothers me, though, is how polarized the conversation around women’s choices has become. It’s either career-driven boss women or stay-at-home traditional wives, with little room for anything in between. I believe in a middle ground—a life where I can pursue my dreams, then eventually slow down, raise children, and still be respected for those choices. This doesn’t mean I’ll stop valuing equality or expect to handle family life alone. In my vision, family is a shared responsibility, and raising children is a community effort.
We fought for the right to choose our paths as women, and that means every path should be respected. Whether it’s running a business or building a home, or anything else whatever she dreams of she should have the chance to pursue,
the most empowering thing is having the freedom to decide what fulfills you.
But honestly that´s just my current point of view let´s see what the future holds!
