AI is changing what it means to be an entrepreneur.
I’m at the European Forum Alpbach 2025, attending the seminar “Accelerating Entrepreneurship with Generative AI”led by Dries Faems (WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management) and Bastian Burger (TUM Venture Labs | Finance), thanks to a scholarship from Club Alpbach Niederösterreich.
Being an entrepreneur has always been about spotting opportunities and taking risks others won’t. AI can do some of the work fast, but it also shows who isn’t ready to move.
Tasks that once took months — researching, brainstorming, testing — can now happen in days. Everything is faster, more intense.
If you wait too long, AI will pass you by.
Those who use it smartly will get ahead.
This is not just about being faster, it’s about being bold, brave, and thinking differently.
AI challenges the most important parts of being an entrepreneur: creativity, judgment, and vision.
For me, this seminar isn’t about learning new software.
It’s about seeing the future of entrepreneurship clearly and understanding that speed, courage, and smart decisions are now linked with AI.
The question is simple: will you use AI to boost your ideas, or will it shape your future before you even realize it?
